Personalized Spaces: Solutions for Living Well
I love working with people who want to improve the accessibility of their home or work environment.
I will sit down with you and listen to what is/is not working about your specific spaces, and then sketch creative solutions to make your living space work better for you. I have worked with clients throughout the Puget Sound region and nationally to customize homes around personal needs.
- Information collecting — bring or send me photos, videos and measurements of the spaces that you are struggling with or images of the environments you wish to emulate.
- Listening — we will meet in person or over the phone so I can hear about your personal needs, preferences and goals.
- Brainstorming and Design — I provide one or more design solutions for your review. You select one for further editing.
- Documentation — I provide documents that illustrate the solutions you've selected and coordinate with your local design team to ensure this solution is integrated or constructed to your satisfaction.
Your home/workspace should be tailored to you, the frequent user(s), not dictated by a standard size or shape. It should also be a place where you can conserve your energy, to be able to use that energy to go out into the community and be active and engaged.
